About Me
I am an economist and run a small consultancy business, Economic Perspectives, from an office in Luton.
My wife and I have lived in the area for 33 years, moving to Wingfield in 2013. I have come to appreciate the richness of rural life and am keen to see this community flourish, aware of the many challenges that the new link road and nearby housing developments will bring.
We are blessed with lovely countryside and an extensive network of footpaths and bridleways. As a walker and former distance runner, I appreciate our open spaces. As a former churchwarden and treasurer of an Anglican church in Lewsey, I am familiar with local concerns – relating to traffic, fly-tipping, personal safety etc. – and aware of the need to stand up for community interests. My top concern is speeding traffic through our villages and on our local roads.
