ISSUE 89, SPRING 2026 – The Spring 2026 copy of the Chalgrave News (Issue 89) is now available to view. A back catalogue of previous Chalgrave news issues is also available to view.
It is hard to believe that such a small parish as ours can support so many events! We have counted at least eight advertised in this edition and urge you all to take a look. A great deal of preparation and hard work goes into making these events happen and it would be lovely to see them all well attended.
We are also giving away sunflower seeds with this issue, (sorry, no seeds with the online edition!) the tallest flower will win a prize. We would love to see as many Chalgrave residents joining in to make our lovely parish awash in yellow later in the year. Details and Instructions for this on page 46.
Following another wet and mostly dreary start to the year we are all looking forward to spring. The daffodils and snow drops are already on show and soon it will be bluebell season. We have several beautiful woods not too far from us to walk through and see these beautiful displays. Dockey Wood, Ashridge, Linslade Woods and Rushden are a few within a few minutes drive.
