Important roadworks information
M1 southbound junction 13 entry slip road – signal repairs
I am writing to tell you that we plan to carry out signal repairs on the M1 southbound junction 13 entry slip road. Once complete, drivers will benefit from a better-defined road.
We plan to complete this work overnight on Tuesday 9 December 2025. We will work between 10pm and 5am, weather permitting.
Closures and diversions
To carry out the work safely, we will need to close the M1 southbound junction 13 entry slip road, and divert traffic as follows:
- Traffic will be diverted northbound to junction 14, to return southbound to junction 13.
