Issue 79, Summer 2023
The Summer 2023 issue of the Chalgrave News (Issue 79) is now available to view. A back catalogue of previous Chalgrave news issues is also available to view.
What a busy Summer its been. After the excitement of having our new King crowned, we have had a Coronation street party, The Chalgrave Games, Ken Green’s 80th birthday celebration and the Annual Wingfield car show, not bad for our little parish and lots to be proud of.
As we head into Autumn it looks like the weather has decided to be kind to us, the fields are being harvested and the blackberries and elderberries are ripening nicely. The wonderful pop-up tea room resumes on 27th September from 11-1, why not drop in for a slice of homemade cake and a chat. For those in the parish who are interested, the yoga classes resume in the village hall in September on Monday evenings and Saturday mornings, organised by Chalgrave Sports Club and in October there is another Quiz night again organised by the sports club, always a fun event and very well attended.
