This edition is bursting with upcoming events—so grab your calendar, because there’s loads to look forward to!
The annual Chalgrave Games in July went down a storm (thankfully not a literal one!). The day began with weather that looked a bit suspicious—umbrellas at the ready—but it soon brightened up and so did everyone’s spirits. We’ve got loads of photos to share, so have a browse—you might just spot yourself in action!
The Chalgrave News Teddy Bear Orphanage was buzzing with activity. Homeless teddies found new families, and in the process we raised even more funds to print more magazines. Luckily, every bear adopted meant a little more cash. Proof that hugs really do pay!
Aunt Agnus recently picked a fight with her dog. Spoiler: the dog won! Since then, she’s been struggling with the basics, even dressing herself has turned into an Olympic event. We’re all rooting for her speedy recovery, and for peace talks with the dog.
Let us hope that after all the sunny weather our autumn is a pleasant one. We hope you enjoy this edition.
